How can you find out about Home education? how do you put a programme together?

Can you answer Clemence J’s question about Homeschooling?:

How can I find out everything I need to know about Home Education all in one place/a few places…in a really easy to understand way? Also…..what organisations can help? HOW exactly should a child be home educated? Who should teach them? How does the parent know how to put a programme together? I live England

Homeschooling Feedback: I did home school in high school, I taught myself, my parents had nothing ot do with it, and I even paid for it. BUT if it is for younger children, there are actually stores and things out there to help with home schooling, like supplies, and books and such. If you get a program of the internet, you can submit exams on line, which is really helpful, and if you pay the full tuition all at ounce, they send you ALL the courses, books, and study guides, and you can divide them up as you see fit for your child. It is actually the best way to do it. Good luck.

Homeschooling Feedback: I know of two internatural home school groups. First, one is Seton Home Study in Front Royal, Va. The second one is a Mennonite Home School Program in Harrisonburg, VA. You should be able to get their phone numbers from the phone information operator. Good luck!

Homeschooling Feedback: There are many curriculum vendors now. I order mine from Sonlight, at. All the books, together with a teachers manual and a schedule, come via UPS. it’s great!
